Au Au CD
(OED011)

AU is the future of American music. Primarily the work of Portland based multi-instrumentalist Luke Wyland, one can immediately tell he has lived all around the country, and absorbed everything to form a sound that not only echoes the past, but also sets a path for the future. Although they have been labeled by some as "psych-folk", we can assure you that AU is not another group of dudes with bandannas sitting around doing acid, but rather are three immensely skilled musicians who put great detail into every aspect of their sound. On their self titled debut, Au crafts 8 songs that will evoke everything from the minimalism of Arvo Pärt to the lush uplifting soundscapes of Animal Collective.

"Rumbling percussion and pealing bells count down to liftoff, a bright ukulele jangle and Zoë Wright's cooing vocals send it on its interstellar way, and as it breaches the upper atmosphere, it explodes into a fountain of solar sparks. Au + "Sum" = "awesome," Pitchfork Media

60 Watt Kid Time Change EP
(OED009)

Kevin Litrow left the racket dance sounds of Dance Disaster Movement (DDM) for a psychedelic acoustic collage which he dubbed as 60 Watt Kid. After a couple of years of solo shows and the demise DDM he decided to record a CDR album which he sold at shows around L.A. and Orange County with his friend Derrick. This EP captures the most beautiful moments of the now out of print full length, and with the addition of 3 tracks never on the full length.

Playing now as a 3 piece band, 60 Watt Kid relocated to San Francisco and continues to expand his sonic boundries into intergalactic pop with plenty of acoustics and electronics. This EP is stripped down yet incredibly epic!
