It's moodier and darker than "Snaggle and Buck", but really shows the band so much more mature and structured. I haven't put it down since I got a copy, I really think it's an album that will turn some heads and make their fans even more devoted. This, like the Au album, will be a co-release with our favorite new yorkers Aagoo. Casiotone for the Painfully Alone will also be making his second 7" appearance on Oedipus, this time on a collaboration picture disc with our old friend David Horovitz, who has gone from oddball guitarist in a local punk band to amazing photographer/tour manager for Xiu Xiu. The single will be limited to 500 and look amazing. It should be out before the end of the year.
