Basic Instructions Before Leaving...
So my girlfriend and I will be leaving town this week because we're flying to Chicago to see the first night of the Pitchfork Festival! Really, it's a no brainer: Slint, Sonic Youth, and the GZA! those are three pretty essential records in my life thus far. Nothing short of a Jawbreaker reunion could make this better.
So yea, while I'm singing along to Liquid Swords (and being careful not to say any words that a suburban jewish dude probably shouldn't say), and eating pizza pot pie mailorder will not go out. You can order because I'm taking a whole day when I get back from vacation to fill mailorder and get it out.
wish me luck, and drop me an e mail if you know of any record stores where I can get weirdo experimental electronica or jazz!
