Santos: La Pelicula
I thought I felt some strange presence around me. By no means am I clairvoyant by nature, and in fact have called myself a skeptic on more than one occasion. But the force of Nicolas Lopez can be felt coming within a 400 mile perimeter.
Yes, the insane (yet sweet) Chilean film director is in town (by town I mean Los Angeles). To most people into movies, he's the new up and coming dude who is drinking buddies with Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez. But to me, he's still the pre-adolescent loser who can't hold his liquor, dances really funny, and buys too many comic books.
He's here because movie exec's are itching to see his latest film, Santos (santoslapelicula.com/). So in between people buying him lunch and throwing scripts for shitty remakes, I'll be driving him around LA and hopefully he'll have some time to hang out here at the Oedipus Headquarters in Long Beach.
But the main point of this post is for people to check out the trailer to his latest movie, which can be seen by clicking here. It's great if you were ever a dorky kid who liked comic books (and possibly still take a peak when you can).
