Releases Galore
Last night was crazy. The Website went up, we made some new Japanese friends, and I found I can get 50 cent taco's like a block away from my place. It was a night full of Mexican food, laughs, and epic hardcore music.
But alas the Oedipus Apartment isn't all fun and games, we've been working a lot. The Parenthetical Girls LP should be by next week. I believe if everything goes as planned, our distribution company will put it on their weekly new arrivals this week. So go out to your favorite record store and request it, even if you already mail ordered it. We just want it in as many stores as possible. We still have copies of the tour only split 7" with the Dead Science, but they are selling like hot-cakes. Don't hesitate, i have about 50 copies left from the initial 120 i got.
The 60 Watt Kid CDEP is going nuts. Get with the times and pick it up. That way, when the Absolutely Kosher debut comes out, you can say something along the lines of "I was into him before he conquered the whole world". Pick it up in our store, and request it at all your local record stores.
The AU CD is almost done. I got a copy of the artwork. It will be co-released with our east coast counterparts Aagoo. Alec from Aagoo is in Japan right now setting up stuff so it will be readily available over in those parts too. The Au album will really blow people's minds, the artwork already has left me in awe.
Foot Foot are cramped up in their coastal home making what is expected to be a "louder and weirder" album. This of course excites us all here at the office. The first pressing of "Snaggle and Buck" is running very low, so it might be the first ever Oedipus Re-Press. This has us all pumped beyond belief. The split 7" with Casiotone for the Painfully Alone is selling so fast it might be completely gone very very soon.
this year is going to be crazy!
